SHALFORD PRIMARY SCHOOL VISION STATEMENT Shalford provides a broad and balanced curriculum in a friendly and happy, well-ordered environment. We strive to give pupils the encouragement to do their best and to support one another. In addition, we expect them to learn that everyone has a right to feel comfortable, both in the classrooms and in the playground. It is our aim that both children and adults feel valued and respected as they go about their daily work and play. The school aims to encourage each pupil to achieve their academic success alongside a general enthusiasm for life and a sense of responsibility for each other and the wider community. We also emphasise the importance of reliability, consideration, good manners and self-discipline as essential life skills which will enhance the pupils’ educational progress. |
